Good for what we needed
The all black is a little Amish looking. Couldn't you add a color somewhere? Otherwise they are good for what we needed. Comfortable, easy to step in and out of when they're muddy and all in all a good work shoe.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Wasatch Mids. They are comfortable, breathe very well, and the ankle support is there without being obstructive.
But when the shoe is marketed as an outdoor/adventure model, I would expect it to hold up. I have had my pair for almost exactly a month and last week a seam (is it a seam?) where the rubber toe cover meets the fabric just popped as I squatted down at work. I have not taken these shoes on any hikes or anything remotely rough yet. I work in IT- 90% of my time at work is sitting at a computer and the last 10% is working on server racks. So when I say that I haven’t done anything strenuous with these shoes, I really mean it. I will probably go back to my Pragues. Those have held up great!
