Sad to See My Son’s New Shoes Losing Their Shape After Less Than Two Weeks

I wanted to reach out because I’m genuinely sad about this experience. This is actually our second pair of Kiziks. The first pair began losing its shape after about three months, but because my son loved them so much, we decided to give the brand another chance and purchased a second pair.My son was incredibly excited when these arrived. He had been waiting for them and couldn’t wait to wear them to school. For a child, a new pair of shoes can be a really big deal. That is why it was so disappointing to see the toe area begin to deform and separate in less than two weeks. The photos show the toe cap lifting away from the upper and the front of the shoe losing its shape. My son is not playing sports in them or using them for any rough activities. He simply wears them to school and walks in them during the day. What makes this especially difficult is that he noticed it himself. He was so proud of these shoes, and now he keeps looking at the front of them because they already appear worn out and damaged despite being practically new.As a parent, that is the part that bothers me most. We chose Kizik again because of how much he enjoyed the first pair. I was hoping this purchase would be something that made him happy, not something that left him disappointed after only a couple of weeks.I understand that products can occasionally have defects, and I’m not writing out of frustration or anger. I’m simply disappointed that a pair of shoes my son was so excited about has not held up to…

    Quality Issues

My twin toddlers absolutely love these shoes because the hands-free design makes them incredibly easy to put on. Unfortunately, the quality simply does not match the price point. We have only owned these blue size 8 Kiziks for about a month, and they are already falling apart. The color has faded significantly, and the rubber on the front toe guard is nearly completely worn away. I expected a shoe designed for active kids to last much longer than four weeks of regular wear.It is a fantastic concept, but the materials just don't hold up. I've reached out to customer service hoping they will make this right, but as of now, I am losing trust in the brand's durability.Hopefully, leaving this alongside your email gets their attention quickly! Let me know if you want to change the star rating or adjust any of the phrasing.

    Little kids shoe

I’ve been buying shoes from Kizik before it was known. However, the last 2 little kids shoes we bought didn’t meet their standard. One of the pairs was the “Orlando black/white. My little great-grandson was so excited with this new pair. Unfortunately, the first day he worn them one of the laces broke. I’ve reached out to customer service and we have exchanged emails. I’ve answered all their questions and provided them with photographs as requested. I’m now waiting for Kizik to live up to their reputation for customer service. Meantime my great-grandson is very unhappy because he can’t wear his new shoes.

    Really unfortunate…

The concept is 10/10. My kids like to call these “Lazy Shoes” because they can just slip them on. But after not a full 2 months in, they are TATTERED. it’s really unfortunate because I believe it’s favorite pair of shoes.. but they just don’t hold up to quality. I’ve added my Hoka that I ran in and wear daily; they are not as badly torn like my son’s.

    Bad quality

Shoes are very cheaply made. Completely destroyed within a few months and the company said it was normal “wear and tear” offered me 10% off a new pair.
