WHERE to find shoes /sneakers for a groovy teen boy with mobility issues who is also blind and that dont look like old man medical shoes?. We found it here with Kizik. The hands free on and off is wonderful for my son, now 17, who can't bend down to put on shoes or tie them. The sneakers hold up to a real teens life with soles that also stay looking good as well as their long lasting functionity. They dont seem to wear out as fast. The back of the shoe that allows for hands free use holds up beautifully as advertised. He has been a proud Kizik wearing customer since he was 14, and a new school year means new shoes. He could've gotten shoes anywhere, but he chose Kizik. I must admit, they are very expensive shoes, and for us, its something we have to save up for, but its so worth it! Its actually an investment in his happiness, confidence, and his ability to function INDEPENDENTLY! With his busy school schedule, he is not having to struggle to bend down and risk falling or have to ask mom or dad for assistance (which is very important to a young man) . True to size, the consistency is a much needed help in that its one less thing to worry about ..Thank you!!!!!
