How does the hands-free step-in work?
HandsFree Labs® Internal Boot Tech is the hands-free system built into the heel. Step in, it flexes down, then springs back to lock your heel in place — no hands, no bending down, even in a boot.
Is the upper really waterproof?
Yes — a ripstop mesh upper with a HYDROGUARD® waterproof membrane keeps moisture out while staying rugged and lightweight on the trail.
What's the rubber toe cap for?
A rubber toe cap wraps the front of the boot to guard against scuffs and abrasion for added durability on rough terrain.
What are the metal eyelets for?
Durable metal eyelets add a secure tie and a rugged look that stands up to repeated lacing.
What's the comfort collar?
A padded collar around the ankle for soft, easy entry and a snug, secure fit.
What's VivaFoam™?
Our proprietary high-rebound midsole foam — lightweight, compression-resistant, and durable, for the ideal blend of cushioning and support mile after mile.
Shoe Care

Knit: Use a soft cloth or toothbrush to spot-clean knit upper with dishwashing liquid and water. Rinse and air dry.

Leather: Spot-clean with soft cloth only.

Insoles: Removable and machine washable. Air dry. (Kizik Kids Prague, Athens, and Anaheim have permanent insoles.)

No-Hassle Returns

All returns and exchanges are accepted for unworn shoes within 30 days of receipt. There is no shipping charge for returns that are brought to any UPS location, Kizik retail store, or Redo return bar locations.
