Boston Black Black Laces
A handicapped man in a wheelchair apparently didn't have enough strength to push his foot into the shoe.
I've basically worn step-ins - and ONLY step-ins - for years. I hate bending down to tie shoes. Trouble is, the heels always wore out long before the shoes did. They bend inward and crunch down, and they wear out fast. So I bought cheap, cloth ones, and they wore down even faster. Then my wife found a pair of KIZIKs on sale and took a chance. What a shoe! The heel design makes all the difference. The heels are MADE to be crunched and to spring back perfectly. And the shoes are leather and well made. The Velcro closure ensures a perfect fit. I love these shoes! I've had them for a couple of months now, and there is no sign of wear on the heels or anywhere else. Since I bought that first pair on sale, I've bought two more pairs (different colors) at full price. These are not cheap shoes but they are worth every cent. Looks like they'll last MUCH longer than the shoes they replaced. Thanks for a great shoe! Mike (the husband)
Lov'em! Stylish yet casual enough to wear with jeans. So comfortable! Very well made & able to withstand the elements.
My new standard for shoes
This is my second pair of Kiziks, and while I really like the overall shoe, I find that the insoles in this pair are not as thick and supportive as my first pair a year ago. That is a little disappointing after the great fit of the first shoes.
